Review: Bedrock Cairn 3D Adventure Sandals

BEDROCKS2.0.jpg

Did you guys and girls ever read that blog post @ultraromance did for @bedrocksandals? Well that shit should go down in the history books as marketing gold. Ever since I read that I’ve been curious about Bedrock Sandals. Serious the hook was set, finally with spring coming and Bedrock launching the new Cairn 3D adventure sandals. I decided to try out a pair. I tend to always get a spring/summer product early, for me it’s a good way to keep the stoke up for summer and warmer weather on those rainy days. Looking forward to using something great always helps.

My one major concern was always just how though and protective they would be, I have pretty weak feet. I always thought that Bedrocks looked really light and floppy. That couldn’t be further from the truth. They are so much more firm and like an actual shoe then I expected but still light. The Vibram sole is grippy as can be. The adjustment system is spot on providing an easy, super comfortable fit. The craftsmanship and materials are top notch. Another thing I should add is I hate flip flops. Having anything between my toes has never worked for me. The flexy cord toe post on these is probably the best touch point on these and quickly forgettable well wearing. Made in the USA with a retail price of $110. These sandals are perfect for a hike or on the bike Ultra Romance is absolutely on to something. I could not recommend these more for a spring or early summer pick up. They are simply soooo good and I’m stoked for summer and warmer weather because of them.
