Guess whos back? It’s me. Im taking another swing at this website thing. Updates content, you know the whole shebang

First review of 2021. Goodr Circle G Sunglasses. If you haven’t heard of the Goodr brand, the best way to describe them is with a phrase I hate. They are truly “disrupters” of the sports sunglasses industry. Most of their glasses retail for $25.00 and come in a variety of colors, designs, and lenses. That alone is wildly different than any other company with average costs being north of $140. Even then they still have a 1 year warranty and are a 100% carbon neutral company.

At that $25 price I didn’t know really what to expect in terms of quality optics, but when they arrived I was honestly very impressed. There’s a reason they have won Runners World gear of the year twice. They don’t slip fit well and have good lenses. On top of this they just make sense. Expensive sunglasses on the bike are kind of silly. They get tossed in pockets, dropped, thrown in helmets and lost. I’ve personally felt the sting of lost $150+ sunglasses and it is not fun. Goodr focuses on what I would call Classic silhouettes. What I mean by that is no more looking like a space ranger to ride the bike. My biggest pet peeve with cycling glasses is how over designed they are to look fast ( all cycling gear for that matter ). This makes them much more wearable off the bike as well.

Its really refreshing to find a brand that appears to be more committed to fun than profits and at the same time they are obviously doing something well with crazy growth in the last few years. I haven’t put a ton of time on these primarily riding indoors (they make blue light blocking lenses as well, if you stare at a computer all day). I don’t know if that really is a “thing” and apparently neither do they and they fully admit it. Which is amazing as most brands would push the benefits to try and sell more. Instead they just lay it out there honestly which I have a lot of respect for.

After this review I picked up a few more pairs. Sticking with the Circle G silhouette as my absolutely favorite.
